28″, 32″, 34″, 36″, 38″ or 40″ IGBC Certified Brutus Boxes (IGBC Food Storage Boxes)
Boxes are built with .100 gauge aluminum, robust can-jar latches, full-length stainless steel hinges, spring-loaded handles, 1″ slots in tabs for easy strap down, and rubber gaskets. Brutus boxes have key lockable latches, a welded channel “stiffener” inside/across the box front, and the IGBC certified sticker. These boxes have been tested with many different bears and meet all IGBC bear-resistant design and structural standards. Mad Cow boxes are water resistant and built to last. Brutus boxes are also available without tabs for car camping and food storage in bear country.

Tabs: Standard tabs are 11″ up from bottom of box to bottom of tab. Tabs can be put at any height (in half-inch increments). Measure from bottom of box to bottom of tab. Standard is 11″ – 11.5″ up.

The Brutus Box is named after a famous local bear here in Bozeman, MT. Brutus, owned by Casey Anderson, has been in several big screen movies. Casey has a show on National Geographic called National Geographic’s Into the Wild. Casey and Brutus endorse and use our product while filming these shows.
